Slemish Farm Tours was created by my brother and myself to give people a unique opportunity to experience a six generation working farm and sample traditional dishes cooked on a classic AGA stove.

Thomas has always been a working farmer and part of the farming community as a specialist Business Farm Facilitator, consulting in farms across the UK, Ireland and beyond. 

It was while returning from a holiday to Spain, flying over the green countryside, mountains and sea that I first thought how I would love to share the beauty of the area with tourists. After training as a tour guide I began to fulfil my dream of showcasing everything I love about home with people visiting The Braid Valley area. 

Slemish Farm Tours provide the ultimate in authentic farm tour experiences located in the shadow of Slemish mountain. The tour displays a great range of farm machinery and a fantastic collection of four-legged friends. Visits to the farm include tractor rides over the fields, and home baking demonstrations in my kitchen, full of ‘yarn and craic’ over traditional food from Northern Ireland that will have visitors licking their lips. 

As a unique sibling tour team, Thomas and I have a lifetime of stories about growing up on the farm, as well as tales handed down from previous generations. With a passion for farming and traditional country fayre, our tours are filled with insight and experience of farming history amid the stunning scenery of The Braid Valley.
