Down Your Way Tours

I have  been  a   local  tour  guide   for  5 years. I  am passionate   about  the  unique   place  apart  that   is  South  Down   and  in particular  Dundrum, Newcastle  and  Castlewellan  and  The  Mournes.

I   have  lived beside  Dundrum Castle  for   25  years  the   jewel in the  Crown  that   is  South  Down.

 I offer walking  tours   and  tours  that   are  historical and  for   general  interest. I  have   experience  of  bus   tours  in  our   area.

• I   am a  retired teacher  of   Geography  and History .
• My  qualification is  level 2   tour  guiding.
• I   am  Secretary  of Lecale   and  Downe  Historical   Society.
• I am  also   Secretary  of  Shimna   U3A  in  Newcastle   and  a  member   of  Newcastle  Lions   club.
• I   also  volunteer as  a   house  guide  at   the  outstanding   Castle  Ward  National Trust  property   on the  shores of  Strangford Lough.
