I help people hike in our breathtaking places. I love showcasing the best of the Irish landscape to those who want to get out there into the very heart of the scenery. I am a highly experienced walking guide with qualifications that include level 3 tour guiding and a degree in Irish History.
Those who join my public, private or group tours report having experiences they will ‘cherish for the rest of their lives’ and their walking tour being the ‘highlight of their trip to Ireland’. This feedback is extraordinarily rewarding but is only a tiny reflection of the joy I experience when I bring visitors into some of our most beautiful landscapes. Most walks are designed for those who enjoy a great walk in the outdoors but not necessarily a tough hike in difficult mountain terrain. My most popular walk is the 8 km cliff path route which leads into the UNESCO world heritage site of the Giant’s Causeway. You’ve heard that the Causeway coast is beautiful but the very best of it can only be experienced on foot. Walking areas include the Causeway Coast Way, Glens, Fairhead and Murlough, amongst others.
